Here at Rising Star K9s, we believe in treating dogs as they are: complex beings with unique wants, needs, and behaviors. Our programs are built to address several different aspects of each dog’s needs, and every single program includes day training. Doggie day training can be thought of like a field trip, where your dog attends class one on one with their trainer, for a fun day packed with learning. Since launching day training, our clients have seen faster and more consistent results with their dogs at home, and we are proud to offer it as an inclusion to our services. Puppy “Paw”fection
Did you know that what your puppy learns in the first 4 months has a permanent effect on how they turn out as an adult dog? Let’s get it right with the Puppy “Paw”fection program. Sleep easy at night knowing that your puppy isn’t destroying your carpet or belongings. We solve common issues like jumping and biting, and most importantly, socialize your puppy the correct way so that you can shape them into a well mannered and confident dog.
This Program Includes:
- 1 day training session for socialization
- 8 weekly or biweekly training sessions
- Toilet training plan and diary
- Advice on feeding, routine care, appropriate toys, and how your puppy learns
- 6 months phone and email support – we are here for you!
- 20% off adult training programs within the first 12 months of your pup’s graduation
- Graduation certificate & gift – at the end of the program we will celebrate all of the progress you and your puppy made!
Come Every Time
Can you imagine your dog at the dog park, running with other dogs, but as soon as you say “Come!” they spin on a dime back to you? Then this is the program for you! This program is best suited for dogs over 6 months who already have some basic obedience, but all dogs are welcome. This is our most bite sized program, which is perfect for those looking to hone in on a single skill.
This Program Includes:
- 4 weekly or biweekly training sessions
- We only use and recommend the best training equipment. This program includes a training collar, leash and treat bag
- “Come” training plan and diary
- One session in a high distraction environment
The Canine Good Citizen
This program is for pet parents who are looking to improve skills such as leash walking, stay, and other commands. To begin this program, we will begin with a (FREE) consultation to determine your dog’s current skill level and set your training goals. This program is best for dogs over one year of age (or who have completed the Puppy “Paw”fection training program) and who are neutral on leash towards other dogs.
This Program Includes:
- 8 one hour training sessions
- We only use and recommend the best training equipment. This program includes a training collar, leash, and treat bag
- 2 day training sessions that are one on one with the trainer
- Custom made training diary

Our trainer for this program has helped hundreds of dogs conquer their leash issues, and can help yours as well, whether the root cause is excitement or fear. Our trainers do not band aid the issue that causes leash aggression, but rather they seek to identify and treat it, in order to create lifelong success. This program is our longest program ,and our trainers walk with you every step of the way until your dog calmly passes others on leash, and can tackle any environment with ease.
